Yes, the standard assortment of Veris glass door systems includes options designed to meet both new construction and remodeling needs. However, some products are better suited for remodeling projects (e.g., bottom-load folding glass door systems). The rough opening specifications will determine if a custom order is needed or if the standard and/or semi-custom assortment can be used. Please note that Therma-Tru recommends pivot entry doors be installed only on concrete or wood substrates to support the operational load of the door.

The Veris collection includes structural and impact-rated options. Please check with your dealer on specific product approvals and always confirm building code requirements in your area before buying. Product approvals show that the door system meets applicable codes when selected, assembled and installed as instructed. Yes, Veris door systems are backed by a 1x transferable lifetime limited warranty. This warranty can be transferred one time to a new owner, should you ever sell your home. Veris door systems are also backed by a 10-year limited finish warranty. The balance of this finish warranty can transfer to a second owner. For more information on limited warranties and exclusions, visit VerisCollection.com.

Please note custom products may not be covered by the Veris lifetime limited warranty. Instead, custom products will be covered under a custom warranty. Each custom Veris product is warranted for a minimum of one year from the date of delivery. Dependent on items specified, such as finishes, warranties may be extended well beyond one year. Many of the components, such as hardware and glass, may be warranted by the original manufacturer for greater lengths of time. Warranties are issued individually, based on the scope of the project. It is imperative that the customer reads and fully understands the warranty for their product type. For additional information, please call 1-800-THERMA-TRU (843-7628).

Whether a top- or bottom-load unit, it's important to keep the track clear of debris so that the rollers work properly. For bottom-load units, this can be more of a challenge as dirt, sand, leaves and other debris may get into that bottom track when the doors are open. If you're concerned about bottom track maintenance due to the area in which you live, then we recommend a top-load unit. However, top-load units require additional structural features. To ensure you have the right fit for your needs, please contact a dealer in your area. To find a local dealer, call 1-800-THERMA-TRU (843-7628).

Whether a top- or bottom-hung unit, it’s important to keep the track clear of debris so that the rollers work properly. For bottom-hung units, this can be more of a challenge as dirt, sand, leaves and other debris may get into that bottom track when the doors are open. If you live in an area in which you’re concerned about bottom track maintenance, then we recommend a top-hung unit. However, top-hung units require additional structural features.
